Don Toliver x HypeBeast Magazine Cover

At the end of June, Don Toliver teamed up with Hypebeast for a special magazine cover signing pop-up in New York City, bringing fans together ahead of a major night at Madison Square Garden.

I had the opportunity to assist with coverage and photography for the event, capturing exclusive moments of Don throughout the morning as fans gathered to celebrate the release. The pop-up offered a more personal setting than the stage, documenting Don interacting with supporters, signing copies of the magazine, and experiencing the energy surrounding his time in New York.

The event also served as the beginning of a much bigger day. Just hours later, Don would take the stage at Madison Square Garden, making the morning an important part of documenting everything leading into the show, where he would bring out artists like SZA, Peso Pluma, Malcolm Todd, and more.

Being able to capture both the intimate moments surrounding the Hypebeast cover signing and the anticipation ahead of MSG gave me the opportunity to help tell a more complete story of Don Toliver’s day in New York City—from connecting with fans in the morning to one of the city’s biggest stages that night.
